It is 100% tested and working trick.
The trick varies from model to model. You first need to install an app from the Play Store that goes by the name CPU-Z. This app provides information about the chipset and other specifications of your phone. When you install the app, you will be able to see complete information about the chipset of your phone as shown in below screenshot.

Now you need to download MTK Engineering app from the Play Store.
After installing the app, open it and click on MTK Settings option

In the Preferred network type section select 4G/3G/2G(auto)

In case they do not get selected automatically, select the 4G network manually.
In some cases, the internet does not work. All you need to do is to create a new Access point. The APN will be jionet. Save the Access point and select it as default. Now try to connect to the internet.

First of all, open the phone’s dialer and use the USSD code *#*#4636#*#*
When you press dial, you will see the Phone Information just like the screenshot below.

First of all, you need to download Xorware 2G/3G/4G Switcher on your phone.

In the main screen of the app, it will show you an option that goes by the name 3G/4G Network Mode. Now select 4G (LTE) option from the menu. Jio 4g sim on 3g
Once you are done, click on the Apply Button.
Now restart your phone.

Common issue of Internet connection
First of all, go to your Phone’s Settings.
Now, go to the Network Settings and click on Access Points.
Click on the New APN.

Save the newly created APN. Select it as default.
Now try turning on the Data. It should work now.
In some cases, you may need to restart the phone once.
How to make calls via Jio SIM
A regular 3G phone will not have any option to let you call via Jio 4G SIM. For that, you will need to download Jio 4G Voice app. This will allow you to make voice calls via 4G network of Reliance Jio.

One thing you need to keep in mind that the Jio 4G SIM you are going to use should be active. This trick will not enable you to activate the 4G SIM. There are many users in India who cannot afford a decent 4G handset. The budget 4G handsets will provide you with the option to use 4G internet and 4G voice calling but overall experience with these phones is not that great.
The above-mentioned tricks will work with most of the 3G Android smartphones. You need to understand that this is just a trick to use the 4G network on 3G phones. It is not sure how far this trick will go. Some 3G smartphones allow using hotspot option while on 4G network so that you can use the connection on your computer. Some of the phones simply refuse to work as a hotspot while being on the 4G network. It is all about trying your luck.
