Rs 500, Rs 1000 notes are no longer legal tender: What you need to know and do

Microsoft joins Eclipse

Microsoft on Tuesday announced it was joining the   Eclipse Foundation   as a solutions member. Membership will enable the company to collaborate more closely with the Eclipse community, which has more than 240 members. It also provides an outlet for delivering tools and services for all development teams. Microsoft will be able to improve its cloud services, SDKs and tools, according to Shanku Niyogi, general manager of the Visual Studio team. "It is clear that Microsoft is a changed company and is now willing to engage developers in their existing communities," said Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse Foundation. "I do not see any immediate change at Eclipse or the open source community as a whole resulting from this," he told LinuxInsider. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said attackers are compromising computer systems in different parts of the world and use masquerading techniques and hidden servers to hide the identity of actual systems from which the attacks are launched. "In such cases, Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) notifies the concerned organisation regarding the cyber-attacks and requests for logs of network devices, servers and other related components for analysing the attacks and identifying sources of attack," he said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha. Announced Tuesday at a press event in San Francisco, the Pixel C will have the same brushed-aluminum case with no exposed screws as its  Chromebook  cousin. Inside will be an Nvidia Tegra X1 quad-core processor with 3GB of LPDDR4 memory. BlackBerry confirms Android-powered Priv phone coming later this year

As part of the company’s quarterly earnings announcement released Friday, BlackBerry confirmed it would roll out an Android phone in late 2015.
